- The service includes the steps of:
Creating a protein map or network, including all known interactions at the molecular level of the elements that cause the disease, including drug targets.- Modelling the molecular map to make it predictive of known results (for example, the model predicts that drug A, has the effect B, and so on).
- Asking the model the client's demand (will my drug C be effective? Will it be safe? What other uses can I find for drug C? How can avoid or control drug safety? How can I enhance drug effectivity?).
TPMS uses all recent advances of interactomics, metabolomics and other systems biology and predictive medicine tools to help our clients to find new indications for existing drugs, perform early profiling of safety issues and off-target effects, discover new drug targets, submit required regulatory Predictive Medicine studies, and to take the correct decisions in in- and out-licensing.
